There are two types of memberships available in the Society. These are described below with the eligibility requirements.

Regular Membership
A regular membership in the Society can be either through a chapter or as an at-large member (if there is no local chapter available). Once established a member may transfer between chapters or to an at-large membership status. To be a regular member a woman must:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be a daughter, granddaughter, stepdaughter or adopted daughter of a Commissioned or Warrant Officer of the United States Army. (Living or deceased, active or retired.)
- Have completed and submitted an application form attesting to eligibility to the National Registrar.
- Have paid the initiation fee and current dues.

Associate Membership
An associate membership is granted only by specific individual Chapters of the Society which have established provisions in their Bylaws that have approved by the National Executive Council of the Society. An Associate member does not become a member of the National organization.
To be an associate member, a woman must:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Have completed and submitted an application form attesting to eligibility to the specific Chapter.
- Have paid the applicable chapter fees and dues.
